CYBERENT SYSTEMS MALAYSIA Co-host Electromagnetic Webinars with iEMAT, Bring Innovative Ideas of Design and Application of Wireless Charging and Sensor
2021.06.30In June, 2021, CYBERENT SYSTEMS MALAYSIA successfully held two webinars co-organized with “innovative Electromagnetic Academic of Thailand (iEMAT).” One of the webinar topics is “High-Frequency Power Transfer,” and another is “Electromagnetic-based Sensor Technology.”
iEMAT is the first electromagnetics (EM) academy of Thailand. It is served to be the center of excellence on electromagnetics on developing and strengthening EM research community in Thailand.
To better convey the advanced knowledge to the participants in the webinars, CYBERNET SYSTEMS MALAYSIA invited Prof. Kittisak Phaebua and Prof. Prayoot Akkaraekthalin, who are affiliated to iEMAT, as well as King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Thailand, to give presentations about the theory used in wireless charging and electromagnetic-based sensor. Later on, Desmond Tan, the Regional Technical Manager of Ansys Inc. presented how to apply Ansys, the world leading CAE simulation software, to design, simulation, and analysis and the benefits it can bring.
In the High-Frequency Wireless Power Transfer webinar, Prof. Kittisak talked about the basic theory of High-Frequency wireless power transfer, antenna design and matching circuits, and introduction of his research work. Desmond continuously introduced Ansys Electronics solution for wireless power transfer.
In the Innovative Electromagnetic-based Sensor Technology and Applications webinar, Prof. Prayoot focused on the sensors using electromagnetic sensing principles and sensor system in microwave and millimeter wave. The structures, designs and tests for the sensors were given in details. In the second part, Desmond introduced Ansys comprehensive solutions for developing electromagnetic-based Sensor.
Combining theories and practical experience sharing of utilizing Ansys, CYBERNET SYSTEMS MALAYSIA and iEMAT expect this event cooperation will benefit the participants who are working in electromagnetic filed and give them more ideas no matter in research or product development.
