Simulation Day - Digital Engineering for High-Tech Industries Held in Vietnam

2025.04.03

CYBERNET Malaysia, in collaboration with Vietnam-Japan International Cooperation Center (VJIC) at the Military Technical Academy (MTA) (Le Quy Don Technical University) in Hanoi, Vietnam, successfully hosted another technology seminar earlier this week. The event, co-sponsored by Ansys, aimed to explore the critical role of digital simulation in addressing the challenges faced by high-tech industries with a special focus on aerospace and defense industry applications.

This marks the third stint of the Simulation Day seminar series in collaboration with MTA and CYBERNET, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing digital engineering education and applications. The seminar was attended by top executives and representatives from CYBERNET, MTA, and Ansys, highlighting the growing partnership between academia and industry in Vietnam’s high-tech sector.

The seminar emphasized how industries today face increasing pressure to optimize design, enhance performance, and reduce costs amid rapid technological advancements. Experts from CYBERNET Malaysia and Ansys introduced cutting-edge digital engineering simulation solutions designed to help government entities and commercial companies streamline product development, improve efficiency, and minimize risks. The discussions covered a wide area of topics such as Engineering Simulation Solutions for High-Tech Industries, Digital Mission Engineering and Multiphysics Simulation for Aerospace and Defense Applications, and Optical Solutions for Aerospace & Defense.

While advanced simulation solutions from Ansys, such as Ansys STK® Digital Mission Engineering Software, can model complex mission systems, academic products like the Ansys Academic Multiphysics Campus Suite provide students, teachers, and researchers with essential access to a wide range of multiphysics simulation tools, including those for digital mission engineering, and semiconductor design.

Attendees, including researchers, academics, representatives of government institutes, and industry professionals, engaged in in-depth discussions on the benefits of simulation technology in real-world applications. The event also reflected on last year’s milestone when CYBERNET and VJIC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in education, scientific research, and technology transfer. Fully supported by Ansys, this partnership focuses on promoting digital engineering as a key driver for innovation and competitiveness in Vietnam’s industrial landscape.

Beyond technical discussions, the seminar served as a platform to reinforce cooperation between academia and industry. Aligned with CYBERNET’s mission to empower the next generation of engineers, the company is committed to integrating advanced simulation technologies into education and research, equipping students and professionals with state-of-the-art tools that drive technological advancements and workforce development.

The success of Simulation Day reaffirms the commitment and collaboration of MTA, CYBERNET, and Ansys to fostering digital engineering expertise, ensuring Vietnam's high-tech sectors remain competitive in the global market.
