An analysis example that describes how to model a rainbow with Ansys Zemax OpticStudio. The non-sequential Mode in OpticStudio can model true colour sources using several source colour models. This presentation shows the steps for modelling the sun, a raindrop and the blue sky and then performing ray tracing to reproduce a rainbow with multiple colours.
