The problem of immunity to external noise is often recognized only after conducting radiated immunity tests. In order to satisfy the specified performance, a large number of countermeasures parts, and man-hours for studying actual equipment are required. By utilizing electromagnetic field analysis, the behavior of electromagnetic fields can be visualized at the design stage, and product designs with high resistance to external noise can be realized.
In this example, a plane wave is applied to an electronic device (notebook PC) from three directions, measures are taken in places where the influence is high, and the electromagnetic field distribution near the set is compared before and after the measures.
