In order to transfer signals between various devices such as wearable devices and liquid crystal displays, or inside each device, a transmission method using a cable or connector across the board is widely used. Since these devices have high transmission speeds, ensuring signal integrity and measures against radiated noise are essential elements for design. By using Ansys electromagnetic field analysis and circuit simulator, it is possible to evaluate various transmission characteristics including boards, cables and connectors. Also, when using purchased cables and connectors, it is possible to analyze a series of transmission lines by obtaining S-parameters from a vendor and connecting them on a circuit simulator.
