This is the second installment of our UAV & Drone simulation webinar series.

From Antenna Design to Full Mission Analysis

As UAV drone become increasingly deployed in commercial, industrial, defense, and emergency response applications, reliable wireless communication and navigation systems are more critical than ever. Antenna performance directly affects communication range, GPS accuracy, telemetry reliability, and overall mission success. However, evaluating antenna performance on a complete drone platform can be challenging due to platform interference, antenna placement, and complex operating environments.

In this technical webinar, we explore how Ansys HFSS - 3D High Frequency Structure Simulation Software enables engineers to accurately design, simulate, and optimize drone antenna systems before physical prototyping. The session will cover antenna synthesis, phased-array analysis, installed antenna performance, and the latest Mesh Fusion technology that significantly accelerates simulation of large and complex electromagnetic models. We will also demonstrate how HFSS SBR+ can simulate realistic flight environments and how HFSS integrated with Ansys STK - Digital Mission Engineering and Systems Analysis software extends electromagnetic analysis to full mission-level communication performance.

Join this webinar to discover how electromagnetic simulation can reduce development time, improve antenna performance, minimize design iterations, and enhance the reliability of modern UAV communication systems.
