Predict Airflow, Eliminate Hotspots, and Optimize Cooling Performance with Ansys Icepak

As data centers support increasingly critical digital services and higher computing densities, effective temperature management is essential for maintaining equipment reliability, service availability, and operational resilience. Cooling performance can directly affect uptime and SLA commitments, while resilient cooling infrastructure is important for meeting the availability and fault-tolerance objectives of higher-tier data centers.

In this technical webinar, we demonstrate how CFD simulation with Ansys Icepak can help engineers evaluate airflow and temperature distribution across a complete data center. Engineers can identify hotspots, air recirculation, and poorly ventilated areas, and optimize cooling configurations before implementing physical changes.

The webinar will also  include example of transient CRAC failure analysis, showing how temperatures rise following cooling equipment failure. These insights can support better equipment placement, contingency planning, and more resilient and energy-efficient data center operations.
