Simulation-Driven Design and Validation: From Interior and Exterior Lighting to HUD Optics SystemsAutomotive lighting plays a critical role in vehicle safety, user experience, and regulatory compliance. As lighting systems become more complex, covering exterior signaling, interior ambient lighting, and head-up displays, simulation-driven design and validation are increasingly essential. This webinar introduces an end-to-end workflow for automotive interior lighting, exterior lighting, and HUD optics system design, simulation and system validation using Ansys Speos. Aimed at optics designers and system validators in OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, the session provides a clear and practical overview of how optical simulation supports early-stage design decisions and downstream validation activities. Attendees will gain awareness of the Ansys Optics portfolio, with a focused introduction to Ansys Speos for optical part design and system-level evaluation. The webinar will conceptually walk through key workflows, including optical component modeling, lighting performance assessment, and system validation based on human vision criteria and regulatory requirements (such as ECE, SAE, and FMVSS), illustrated with representative simulation results. By the end of the session, participants will better understand how simulation enables confident, efficient, and compliant automotive lighting development from design through validation while reducing physical prototyping effort and development risk. |
